Product Analyst

About This Role

Working closely with operational teams, stakeholders, and Product Owners, the Product Analyst will understand business challenges, improve processes, and support the delivery of technology solutions that drive measurable business value. This role requires occasional travel across the UK to engage with end users and support product adoption, making a full UK driving license essential. You will also develop a strong understanding of the business systems that underpin operations, helping to identify opportunities for improvement and increased business value.

Responsibilities

• Map and analyse current and future-state business processes
• Gather, document and validate business requirements
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews and discovery sessions
• Analyse operational, performance and usage data
• Quantify, track and validate business benefits
• Maintain process maps, requirements and business documentation
• Investigate business issues and identify root causes
• Assess the impact of change on people, processes and systems
• Conduct user research to understand challenges and opportunities
• Support business case development and benefit justification
• Assist Product Owners with discovery, assessment activities and 2nd Line Product Support
• Identify efficiency savings and continuous improvement opportunities
• Strive to be always positive and constructive

Requirements

• Experience in a Product Analyst, Business Analyst or similar role
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience documenting business processes and requirements
• Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
• Interest in technology and business systems, with the ability to understand how products support operational processes
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide

Nice to have:

• Experience working with or supporting systems within areas such as Work Management Systems (WMS), Fleet, Health & Safety (HSE), HR or Finance
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methods or business systems
