Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive Procurement Operations Specialist to manage, execute, and optimize Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
In this role, you will be responsible for handling end-to-end purchasing activities, collaborating with internal stakeholders, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring on-time delivery of goods and services in full to support company operations.
Key Responsibilities
- P2P Execution & Sourcing: Evaluate purchase requisitions (PRs) for completeness, issue request for proposals/quotations (RFx), evaluate bids on a level playing field, negotiate favorable commercial terms, and issue purchase orders.
- Logistics & Importation: Coordinate logistics and cargo insurance to manage on-time delivery in full (OTIF), including handling import/export activities with external bodies such as the Bureau of Customs and PEZA.
- Supplier & Contract Management: Act as a key liaison for suppliers to resolve delivery, payment, or contractual issues (rejections, short shipments, warranty claims). Manage contract variations and change orders.
- System & Process Optimization: Partner with SCM systems teams to optimize P2P cycle times, maintain the vendor database, manage supply/service agreements (SSAs), and resolve system issues (e.g., Oracle/Maximo).
- Additional Operations: Utilize existing supply agreements to maximize value, execute scrap disposal bidding processes, and lead continuous process improvement projects.
- Compliance & Standards: Conform to company ISO management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001, 55001, 50001, 22301) and maintain data security and safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any Business-related or Behavioral Science course (Engineering or technical background is preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Core Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills. High attention to detail and computer literacy are required.
