Procurement Specialist

About This Role

This Procurement Specialist role ensures that purchasing and logistics activities within the Procurement function are implemented, maintained, and compliant to support the business. It suits a proactive individual who can execute assigned activities according to standard procedures, optimize costs, and contribute to training programs.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products
• Design and implement plans and effective strategies for local sourcing of products/materials to reach business targets
• Support in implementing effective local sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to meet current and future business requirements
• Apply and implement procurement standards, tools, and processes in your area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability
• Negotiate agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renew price lists and terms and conditions
• Recommend frame agreements to management and execute upon approval

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of plastic and metal categories, including supplier market dynamics, sourcing strategies, and cost drivers
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Dynamic and proactive individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• At ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken
• Strong ability to work in a team, to prioritize tasks, to work with deadlines, and to manage projects effectively
