Procurement Program Manager

About This Role

This role focuses on implementing strategic procurement initiatives that make a meaningful impact on global healthcare, research, and environmental protection. The Procurement Program Manager will develop complex category strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain performance, reduce costs, and ensure continuous improvement. The position leverages expertise to develop and execute effective sourcing solutions while building strong supplier relationships that advance the company's mission.

Requirements

• Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in procurement/sourcing in large multinational organizations
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier relationship management
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with ability to develop business cases and drive cost savings
• Project management capabilities and experience managing complex, global initiatives
• Proven negotiation skills and ability to influence in matrix environment
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and project management tools
• Experience with ERP systems, spend analytics, and e-sourcing platforms
• Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to work collaboratively across global, cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
• Fluency in English required; additional languages beneficial
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously
• Experience with supplier quality management systems and regulatory compliance

Nice to have:

• Preferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
• Project Management certification desired
• CPSM, CPIM, or equivalent procurement certification preferred
• Experience in life sciences, biotech, pharmaceutical or regulated industries preferred

Important Details

• Schedule: Standard (Monday-Friday)
• Travel: 10-30% as required by role
