About the role

Your function

The Procurement Officer is responsible for managing the company's serial supplies and conducting regular follow-up with suppliers. They are also responsible for inventory management.

As a Procurement Officer , your responsibilities will be as follows*:

  • Guaranteeing timely and high-quality supplies to your internal customers
  • Analyze the needs for raw materials and consumables to supply production
  • Ensuring the smooth running of firm and forecasted Net Requirements Calculations
  • Develop and distribute raw material and consumable forecasts to suppliers
  • Edit, manage and track firm orders.
  • Manage and monitor suppliers (enter acknowledgments of receipt and follow up on potential delays)
  • Establishes and guarantees the correct stock levels in consultation with the logistics manager (financial objectives, production needs, supplier security, etc.).
  • Managing the stock of expired materials (analysis of expiration dates & usage)
  • Monitor risks & stock movements as needed (non-turning stock - obsolete stock / overstock)
  • Follow up on receipt/PVNC & invoicing disputes related to these orders.
  • Knowing how to manage the technical (NM) and customer coverage aspects upon request for analyses
  • Secure the materials for the purchase of materials for new transfers.
  • Supporting the quality service for monitoring ISPs with suppliers
  • Facilitates the processing of ALAS and blocking points (See QRQC UAP)
  • Coordinate the implementation of corrective action plans with suppliers
  • Working in collaboration with various internal departments, including Purchasing, Technical, Quality, Logistics, Planning & Production/Scheduling
  • Ensure the maintenance and updating of supplier performance indicators
    • OTD global HCIM suppliers, Stock in Days,
    • Preemption values ​​/ catch-up plan / supplier risks
    • Supplier delay lines, Monitoring of production disruptions, Number of Disputes.

Skills and knowledge required

  • Candidates must have a Bac+5 degree specializing in logistics, with 3 years of experience in the aeronautical sector.
  • Mastering the essential office tools for his activity (spreadsheet, database, accounting software, etc.) and the structure's ERP.
  • Knowledge of the issues related to transport and logistics.
