Procurement Manager

About This Role

Procurement Managers ensure cost-effective purchasing, reliable supplier relationships, and timely availability of goods and services for a logistics company. This role involves managing all procurement activities and aligning them with business needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business needs
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and service providers
• Manage purchasing of logistics, transportation, warehousing, and operational requirements
• Negotiate prices, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules
• Monitor supplier performance, quality, costs, and delivery timelines
• Manage purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, and Warehouse teams
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure procurement policy compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably within logistics or supply chain
• Strong supplier network and negotiation skills
• Experience in cost control, vendor management, and purchasing operations
• Good knowledge of procurement processes and ERP systems
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• English required
• Saudi market experience preferred
