About the role
As the Purchase Executive you will be the key resource managing set of approved suppliers for
sourcing the aftermarket requirements and reporting to the Sourcing and Supply Chain Head of
Division. Categories include proprietary items like Clutches, Brake Lining and Brake Pad, Filter, Lubes
and Oils, Propellor Shaft, Gear Box and Transmission assembly.
Role & responsibilities
Identify, evaluate and onboard new suppliers to meet capacity, capability and quality expectations
for aftermarket products.
b) Negotiate pricing for these components using various methodology including ZBC, YOY Reduction,
Benchmarking with other suppliers, leveraging volume and brand of RSB.
b) Periodic Settlement of prices based on commodity movements.
c) Rasing of monthly schedule and ensuring of timely supplies to support field sales.
d) Participation in periodic supplier quality audit to ensure consistent quality of supplied products as
per agreed drawing.
e) Monitoring basic and landed cost of each component and in case of multiple sources deciding one
share of business allocation.
f) Develop parts/assemblies at supplier with first time right approach.
g) Monitor supplier performance on QCD parameters and work closely with supplier for continuous
improvement.
