Process Technician / Junior Process Technician

About This Role

This role involves supporting the Process Engineer in various tasks related to improving production quality, yield, and output, as well as maintaining equipment and providing technical assistance to the production team. It suits a candidate who can work independently and is willing to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support Process Engineer in improving production quality, yield, and output
• Assist Process Engineer in implementing process control and monitoring techniques
• Execute and complete tasks as planned by the Process Engineer
• Provide technical support to the production team
• Maintain equipment in good working condition, including regular inspection, cleaning, servicing, and maintenance
• Support engineers in new process setups and conduct related studies
• Be responsible for gathering process data and reporting it to the Process Engineer
• Understand the process in detail and be responsible for identifying and troubleshooting deviations, and taking appropriate corrective actions
• Assist the Process Engineer in maintaining a highly optimized process
• Document routine manufacturing processes
• Ensure strict adherence to process parameters and close compliance with internal SOPs

Requirements

• Fresh graduates are welcome; 1 year of working experience in engineering, process, or manufacturing is an advantage
• Willing to work shifts, support overtime, and work on weekends
• Able to work independently and possess good problem-solving skills
