Process Engineer - MES Support

We are now looking for a Process Engineer - MES to join our Manufacturing Systems team in Uppsala. In this role, you will help develop and maintain our electronic batch records and contribute to ensuring that our digital production systems function well in daily operations.

You will be part of our team where we work together to develop and improve our production processes, systems, and technical solutions. Your Mission

You will be part of the Manufacturing Systems team, which is responsible for our Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Körber PAS-X. The system is an important part of our digitized production and is used, among other things, for our electronic batch records.

As a Process Engineer - MES, you will work closely with the business and have many points of contact. You will collaborate with production, process engineers, quality, supply Chain, Master Data, and IT. An important part of the role is to understand how our manufacturing processes work and then translate them into clear and functioning digital workflows in PAS-X. You will also be involved in identifying improvements, solving problems, and developing our working methods within digital production.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Map and document manufacturing processes together with production and other functions.
• Design, configure, and update Master Batch Records (MBR) and workflows in Körber PAS-X.
• Support production with questions and problems related to MES.
• Work on improvements and development of existing MES solutions.
• Contribute to integrations between MES, ERP, and other production and automation systems.
• Participate in projects and initiatives related to digitization and development of production.
• Ensure that our solutions comply with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
• Work together with various parts of the organization to develop our systems and processes.

Your Profile

We believe you are someone who enjoys understanding processes, finding solutions, and making things work in practice. You are structured and analytical but also have an easy time collaborating with people with different skills and perspectives.

You take responsibility for your tasks and drive the work forward while knowing when it is important to involve others.

We would like you to have:

• Approximately 2-5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably from pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical technology, or other regulated activities.
• Experience with MES, process development, or other digital solutions close to production.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and interest in how digital systems can support and improve them.
• Good ability to communicate and collaborate with different functions.
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.
