About the role
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and interface with Project team, Piping and Layout, Mechanical, E&I and Civil & Structure and other disciplines in project, Plant operation, maintenance and more.
· Capable of executing all project phases from Concept Design / Basic engineering / Detail Engineering includes Bidding packages.
· Perform process calculations such as hydraulic calculations, control valve sizing, pump sizing, pressure vessel sizing, pressure safety valve sizing with contingency analyses, etc., and generate the calculation reports.
· Perform process simulation program (Aspen Plus, Apen Hysys, PIPENET, FLARENET, etc.) to support the process calculation tasks.
· Perform heat exchanger design by using HTRI or Aspen Hysys.
· Generate process data sheets and support other disciplines to finalize instrument and mechanical data sheets/specifications.
· Prepare / develop/ check and maintain Process engineering document either prepared by himself/herself or others as assigned by Lead Engineer such as
- Process Flow Diagram (PFD)
- Piping and Instrument Diagram (P&IDs)
- Heat and Material Balance
- Process Description
- Process Datasheet for Mechanical Equipment and Instrumentation
· Utilities Consumption list (Relief Load Summaries, Emission List, Cause and Effect diagram, Equipment list, Piping line list.
Qualification:
· Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or other related discipline with Associate Chemical Engineer License (ภาคีวิศวกร) or higher.
· A min of 3 years relevant experience. Prefer work experience in Petrochemical, refinery Oil & Gas, Manufacturing & Factory sector.
· Have enough knowledge of related Thai / international codes and standards applicable.
· Familiar with process engineer calculation software, for example: Aspen Plus, Aspen Hysys, PRO/II, HTRI, PIPENET etc.
· Skill of English listening, speaking, and writing is a plus.
