About the role
Seeking a Radiologic Technologist with CT specialization to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Responsibilities include: verifying orders, obtaining clinical histories, preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, ensuring image quality, and maintaining patient safety and privacy.
- Perform various technical procedures independently, including CT scans, radiographs, and contrast administration, following established protocols.
- Assist in emergency situations, restock supplies, transport patients, and maintain departmental cleanliness.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
- Ensure equipment functionality, proper calibration, and adherence to quality control standards.
- Document procedures accurately, submit studies to PACS, and follow regulatory and safety standards.
Qualifications include: accredited radiologic technology education, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, BLS certification, and at least one year of radiology experience (CT experience preferred).
Skills required: excellent communication, customer service, ability to work independently and under pressure, attention to detail, and proficiency in anatomy, pathology, and radiation safety. Must demonstrate critical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
