Privileged Access Management Engineer

About This Role

This engineering role focuses on architecture, delivery, and production behavior, turning difficult constraints into operable and improvable systems. The position involves strengthening privileged-access controls for human and machine identities, taking responsibility for work connecting PAM, vaulting, and session controls, and ensuring discipline in secrets management and identity governance. Responsibilities

• Own the practical direction for privileged-access controls for human and machine identities
• Translate goals and constraints into a clear approach for PAM and vaulting
• Establish useful standards, routines or artifacts around session controls
• Coordinate stakeholders and dependencies affecting secrets management
• Use evidence and measurable outcomes to improve identity governance
• Strengthen knowledge sharing, decision quality and sustainable ownership across the team

Requirements

• Relevant experience delivering privileged-access controls for human and machine identities in a demanding environment
• Strong working knowledge of PAM and vaulting
• Practical experience applying session controls and secrets management
• Ability to assess risk, priorities and trade-offs involving identity governance
• Evidence of clear stakeholder communication and dependable end-to-end ownership
• Professional English and the judgment to work with sensitive or business-critical information
• Background in product engineering, platform work, enterprise technology or consulting

Nice to have:

• Experience from financial services, infrastructure or industrial enterprises
• Exposure to automation in a cross-functional environment
• Swedish language skills or experience working across Nordic organizations
