Private Investigator / Bounty Hunter

About This Role

This role is for an independent contractor to perform investigative and security services, including private investigation and bounty hunting, in compliance with Oklahoma law and agency standards. It suits active security guards, military veterans, and individuals with CLEET Phase 1-5 who seek flexible work opportunities without the hassle of marketing and business management.

Responsibilities

• Perform process service
• Conduct surveillance operations
• Perform interviews and statements
• Conduct background investigations
• Collect evidence
• Handle security assignments
• Write detailed reports
• Perform bounty hunting
• Provide executive security

Requirements

• Hold all required licenses and credentials to perform investigative or security services in Oklahoma (CLEET Phase 1-5 or other assigned jurisdictions)
• Maintain licensing and compliance for the duration of the contract
• Experience in investigations, security, or paramilitary skills preferred
• Successfully pass a background investigation, which may include criminal history check, court records review, identity verification, employment history, licensing verification, and driving record review
• Meet a minimum physical fitness standard equivalent to the FBI Physical Fitness Test, including push-ups, 300-meter sprint, 1.5-mile run, and pull-ups

Important Details

• This is not an employee position
• Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, bonds, licenses, permits, and equipment (though TFIS provides access to much of the needed equipment)
• Work is offered, and operatives can accept assignments as they suit them
