About the role

What You Will Do

Imagine; there has been a rear-end collision where personal injury is being claimed. There are peculiarities found in the circumstances and the submitted damage documents. You receive an assignment from the insurer to conduct an investigation. After creating an interrogation plan, you make an appointment with the other party and their representative. You will also engage in conversation with the insured. Your investigation reveals that the collision was staged. You report the carefully compiled evidence to the client, and the damage claim is denied.

Or imagine; there has been a burglary, and the insurer is claiming expensive equipment, money, and jewelry. An expert from DEKRA has already visited the individual and has his doubts. You receive an assignment from the insurer to investigate the damage claim. Before visiting the individual, you study the case documents and consult with the expert. You have already discovered that a false invoice has been submitted and that photos of stolen items were taken after the burglary. You visit the home and have an intensive conversation there. During your visit, you discover more irregularities and confront the individual with your findings. You conclude the case with a clear and concise report that enables the insurer to make a decision.

This is just a glimpse of the work of a Private Investigator at DEKRA Investigations. A independent and responsible position where you specifically deal with circumstances and fraud investigations related to damage claims. You work a lot on location and from home. Every day is different, and every investigation is unique. It's a challenging job, but one thing is for sure, you will never have a dull workday!
