Private Duty Nurse RN - Immediate Day Needs

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides skilled nursing care in patients' homes, ensuring high-quality, compassionate treatment aligned with physicians' orders and care plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate patient care, monitoring condition changes, and updating care plans accordingly.
• Document assessments, interventions, responses, and care activities promptly and accurately.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, self-care, and prevention techniques.
• Implement infection control protocols and maintain compliance with regulations and policies.
• Recognize and respond to patient needs, taking appropriate actions to prevent or reduce risks.
• Participate in ongoing education to maintain professional competencies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active, unencumbered RN license in the practice state.
• Current CPR certification and TB test within the last year.
• Preferably six months of recent clinical nursing experience; specific experience may be required for certain specialties.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and physical ability to perform patient repositioning and lift up to 50 pounds.
