About the role
Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides skilled nursing care in patients' homes, ensuring high-quality, compassionate treatment aligned with physicians' orders and care plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and coordinate patient care, monitoring condition changes, and updating care plans accordingly.
- Document assessments, interventions, responses, and care activities promptly and accurately.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, self-care, and prevention techniques.
- Implement infection control protocols and maintain compliance with regulations and policies.
- Recognize and respond to patient needs, taking appropriate actions to prevent or reduce risks.
- Participate in ongoing education to maintain professional competencies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the practice state.
- Current CPR certification and TB test within the last year.
- Preferably six months of recent clinical nursing experience; specific experience may be required for certain specialties.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and physical ability to perform patient repositioning and lift up to 50 pounds.
