Private Chef

About This Role

This full-time, live-out position is for an exceptional Private Chef to join a fully staffed private household in West London. The role involves providing a first-class private dining service for a family, taking full ownership of the kitchen and delivering creative, beautifully executed, health-conscious cooking that never compromises on flavour.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare exceptional, creative, and nutritionally balanced meals for the family on a daily basis
• Design varied, health-conscious menus that place equal emphasis on flavour, freshness, and presentation
• Cater for entertaining and events at the residence, including occasional weekend hosting
• Travel with the family when required, providing continuity of service away from home
• Source the finest seasonal ingredients and manage relationships with suppliers
• Manage the kitchen to the highest standards of organisation, hygiene, and food safety
• Oversee kitchen ordering, stock control, and budgets
• Liaise closely with the wider household team to ensure the smooth running of the home

Requirements

• Extensive Private Chef experience within UHNW private households
• An exceptional, creative cook with genuine expertise in healthy, nutritious cuisine that never sacrifices flavour
• Confident catering for both day-to-day family dining and entertaining
• A collaborative team player, comfortable working within a fully staffed household
• Flexible, with a willingness to work occasional weekends and travel with the family
• Discreet, professional, and highly organised, with a clear understanding of the expectations of private service
• Fluent English

Benefits

• 20 days' annual leave, to be taken while the family are away
• Additional time off whenever the family are abroad, amounting to approximately three months per year in total

Important Details

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required around events and family travel
• Travel: approximately two to three weeks per year
