Privacy Compliance Associate

About This Role

The Privacy Compliance Associate supports Morgan Stanley in meeting its privacy and data protection obligations within the Data Governance & AI Non-Financial Risk team. This role ensures that global Data Subject Rights requests, including access and erasure requests, are managed appropriately and responded to within required timeframes across various business lines. As an Associate in the Privacy NFR team, you will govern and oversee data subject rights requests and privacy across the firm.

Responsibilities

• Assist Privacy NFR to support colleagues and partners across the Firm when responding to Data Subject Rights requests, including data subject access requests (DSARs) and erasure requests, within statutory deadlines
• Assist Privacy NFR to support colleagues and partners across the Firm with the intake, processing, redactions and quality assurance checks of request responses
• Support Privacy NFR with oversight activity including monitoring of dashboards and production of metrics for reporting to colleagues, partners and governance groups
• Support Privacy NFR by providing advice and guidance on global Data Subject Rights to key stakeholders across the Firm
• Enhance policies, procedures, processes, reporting, training and support ad-hoc projects as required

• A willingness to learn and develop
• At least 2 years' relevant experience

• Experience with One Trust Privacy Automation/ DSAR tool or similar
