Manage print production, material sourcing, quality control, team operations, and client coordination to ensure timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with product development teams or clients to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Prepare and present print quotations to internal teams and external clients.
- Develop samples to meet client standards and deliver them within the designated timeframe.
- Manage the team efficiently to accommodate bulk orders and ensure a smooth production process.
- Plan and schedule print production for various orders, whether machine printing, table printing, or outsourcing to external print shops.
- Monitor print quality and efficiency, while ensuring on-time delivery.
- Summarize daily and monthly completed order volumes to measure performance and align with company strategy.
- Manage raw material stock and audit inventory levels at the end of each month.
- Inspect and evaluate the price and quality of raw materials and chemicals by comparing multiple suppliers for maximum cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to make decisions on selecting the most suitable raw materials and chemicals.
- Control and maintain quality standards across the department once raw materials are brought into the organization.
- Source backup suppliers to ensure continuous production in case issues arise with primary suppliers, preventing operational disruptions.
- Oversee billing and collection processes, verify accuracy, and issue invoices to clients and branches on time, while summarizing monthly plant revenue.
- Guide and supervise the team in recording data into the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics AX).
- Reconcile expenses related to external printing vendors and summarize total monthly costs.
- Plan, monitor, and promote safety, environmental conservation, and efficient energy usage within the printing plant.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience in print management or production management positions.
- Strong management skills and strong leadership qualities.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of printing technology and related materials/equipment.
- High attention to detail and strong commitment to quality control.
- Ability to manage and allocate resources with maximum efficiency.
- Familiarity with safety standards and environmental standards in a manufacturing plant.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
