About This Role

This Principal Product Manager - Technical role focuses on the post-purchase experience for Alexa for Shopping, a conversational shopping AI. The position involves setting a multi-year vision for how agentic AI will redefine customer interactions after a purchase, from delivery tracking to troubleshooting and reordering.

Responsibilities

• Own the post-purchase experience for Alexa for Shopping
• Set the multi-year vision for how agentic AI redefines everything that happens after a customer buys
• Define what each customer interaction becomes when an assistant handles it for them
• Own post-purchase strategy and roadmap, driving clarity where the problem and opportunity are not yet defined
• Envision what a great post-purchase experience is and how to measure it, then create the roadmap to deliver on that vision
• Shape how post-purchase works in an agentic setting, defining which delivery, support, return, and replenishment actions the assistant takes on a customer's behalf
• Define how the assistant earns the trust to take actions on a customer's behalf
• Identify the AI capabilities that will become table stakes before they are obvious
• Own the surfaces where product ownership happens today, from Your Orders to the returns flow
• Turn each completed purchase into the beginning of the next mission
• Partner closely with multiple engineering and science teams, as well as the Delivery Experience, Customer Service, and Selling Partner organizations
• Drive cross-organizational decisions to define and influence the future of shopping AI

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience technical product management
• Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
• Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
• Experience building consumer products with Gen AI / LLMs / Agents as the core enabler
