Primary Care Sales Consultant

About This Role

This sales consultant position is responsible for implementing sales strategies for approved Cardiorenal and menopause products within an assigned territory. The role involves building professional relationships with healthcare providers, driving demand and clinical education, and developing strategic business plans. It suits a sales professional who can collaborate with internal partners to achieve US Pharma outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop professional relationships with primary care and pharmacy staff within assigned customers
• Drive appropriate utilization of approved CV and menopause products
• Work closely with the Customer Squad to generate pull-through within local payers and community HCPs
• Leverage expertise and knowledge of the diabetes and menopause marketplace, applicable competitors, industry, and cross-functional activities/plans to anticipate and effectively manage business opportunities and challenges
• Provide relevant, thoughtful input to other commercial colleagues (e.g., sales leadership, regional account managers) in regard to strategic and tactical planning for territory, area, and region
• Develop and implement effective customer-specific business plans
• Communicate insights to internal stakeholders
• Prioritize time and effort to ensure optimal coverage of appropriate physician specialists based on opportunity and potential
• Understand fully the assigned customers’ product and business needs and work to meet those needs while adhering to all Bayer company ethics and compliance standards
• Anticipate potential barriers to achievement of goals and propose responsible solutions for success
• Handle customer objections effectively and exceed customer expectations

Important Details

• Travel: Up to 50% within the territory
• Residence: Candidate must be domiciled within the territory
