Job Summary We are seeking a Board-Certified Family or Internal Medicine Physician to join a collaborative outpatient primary care team in Salinas, CA. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across all ages while emphasizing preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and continuity of care. The physician will work closely with a multidisciplinary clinical team to deliver evidence-based care, coordinate services, and improve patient outcomes through compassionate, high-quality medical care.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Perform annual wellness visits and preventive health screenings.
- Promote health maintenance, disease prevention, and patient education.
- Manage chronic conditions through evidence-based treatment plans.
- Coordinate patient care with specialists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) to maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe appropriate treatments.
- Advocate for patients and coordinate cost-effective healthcare services.
- Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Active and unrestricted California Medical License.
- Active DEA registration and NPI number.
- Successfully completed an accredited residency program.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and patient-centered care skills.
