Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine)

Join a mission-driven community health organization dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to under-served populations in the San Fernando Valley. We are seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to become part of a collaborative team committed to improving community health.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide outpatient primary care by examining, diagnosing, treating, and monitoring acute and chronic conditions.
- Manage a daily patient panel of approximately 18 patients per day (up to 20–24 during busier clinic sessions).
- Complete and close Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation within 72 hours.
- Review and interpret laboratory results, imaging, EKGs, specialist reports, and other diagnostic studies.
- Order appropriate diagnostic testing and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Perform routine preventive services, including well-woman exams (Pap smears, pelvic exams, and breast exams).
- Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments.
- Coordinate specialty referrals and incorporate consultant recommendations into ongoing care plans.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, chronic disease management, and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Supervise up to four Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Physician Assistants (PAs), and/or Medical Assistants as needed.
- Participate in provider meetings, peer review activities, quality improvement initiatives, and the shared after-hours call rotation.
Qualifications
Required
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school with completion of an accredited residency program.
- Active California Physician License.
- Board Certification in:
- Family Medicine (ABFM/AOBFP), or Internal Medicine (ABIM/AOBIM)
- Active DEA registration.
Preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- New residency graduates are encouraged to apply; experienced physicians are also welcome.
Schedule
- Full-Time (40 hours/week)
- Monday–Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Dedicated administrative time built into the workweek.
Compensation
- $210,000 – $300,000 annually
- Salary is negotiable based on experience.
- Direct Hire (W-2)
- Potential consideration for a 1099 productivity/RVU-based compensation model.
