Our client, a global logistics company is seeking for Pricing Manager - Airfreigh department (Japan). This role is responsible for the strategic planning, marketing and overall management of a product throughout its lifecycle. This role involves activities such as market research, defining product vision and strategy, gathering user requirements, creating a product roadmap, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing product launches, and analyzing product performance
Position: Pricing Manager - Airfreight (Japan)
Location: Tokyo

Key Responsibilities
- Drive product growth and achieve annual revenue, gross profit, and volume targets.
- Develop and execute pricing and the strategies, including pricing for strategic opportunities.
- Monitor market, customer, competitor, and pricing trends and identify new business opportunities.
- Work closely with Sales and Finance to set targets, develop growth plans, and monitor performance.
- Manage the sales pipeline and take corrective actions to improve business performance and achieve monthly targets.
- Drive growth across key trade lanes and commercial opportunities.
- Provide Sales with up-to-date product information, materials, and training.
- Support new product launches, marketing activities, and other commercial initiatives.
- Report to Japan Country Head of Air Freight Department.
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in air freight pricing, product management roles.
- Strong understanding of pricing, sales, business development, and market analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with revenue, profit, volume, and sales data.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated, commercially focused, and results-oriented.
- Fluent in English. Native in Japanese.
