Pricing Analyst

About This Role

This role is for a Pricing Analyst to join the team, focusing on understanding business processes through data analysis. The analyst will leverage this knowledge to drive business impact across the organization, playing a crucial role in helping teams make data-driven pricing decisions and improving overall business performance.

Responsibilities

• Understand the business and its processes through data
• Apply this understanding and knowledge of data to help marketing, sales, and product teams drive business impact
• Assist teams with answering questions with data through:
• Working with stakeholders to clarify and understand potential problems and business objectives
• Extracting relevant data points from various data sets
• Analyzing and identifying statistically significant trends or insights that could help drive improvements
• Preparing and communicating findings to help users easily understand them
• Build reports and visualizations that allow teams to monitor key KPIs and objectives
• Create and manage documentation on projects, recurring tasks, and findings, building a library of internal knowledge

Requirements

• 2+ years experience as a data/business analyst or similar working with sizable data sets
• Solid knowledge of undergraduate statistics: distributions, uncertainty, biases, hypothesis testing, etc
• Highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets
• Proven ability to communicate findings visually with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau or similar
• Highly organized with the ability to work independently
• Basic-to-Intermediate SQL knowledge
• Experience working in a SAAS environment
