Pricing Analyst

About This Role

The Pricing Analyst joins a collaborative squad, working closely with various teams to support sound commercial decisions using data and actuarial insights. This role contributes to delivering competitive and sustainable pricing, strengthening portfolio performance, and creating long-term value for customers and the business.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform actuarial analyses to support management reporting and business decisions
• Analyse portfolio experience, profitability, capital availability and solvency projections
• Support cash flow model development and help maintain the quality of model outputs
• Calculate premiums for new and existing products using agreed pricing methodologies
• Test and review system changes and other deliverables that support squad outcomes
• Monitor business volumes, mix, experience trends and expenses, comparing actual results with expectations

Requirements

• Progress towards Actuarial Fellowship
• A good understanding of insurance products and insurance contracts
• Strong analytical, mathematical and problem-solving capabilities
• The ability to analyse performance indicators and forecast emerging trends
• Clear written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Business acumen, financial management awareness and familiarity with actuarial modelling software such as Prophet

• Work format: 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home per week for full-time employees
