About the role
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify and resolve issues
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and tenants
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors for larger repair projects
- Keep accurate records of maintenance performed and materials used
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of building systems including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Additional Skills:
- Basic computer skills for record keeping and communication purposes
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
