This role is for an all-round preventive assistant in a specialized pediatric dental practice, focusing on providing preventive care, assisting with treatments, and interacting with children and parents. It suits someone with a heart for children who enjoys guiding them towards a healthy smile in a positive way.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive treatments and check-ups
• Provide explanations and information to children and parents about oral health
• Assist the dentist during treatments
• Guide and reassure children during their visit to the practice
• Perform reception duties, such as receiving patients, answering questions, and telephone contact
• Schedule appointments and support administrative tasks
• Maintain patient data and files
• Ensure a hygienic, safe, and welcoming work environment
• Identify special circumstances and consult with colleagues

Requirements

• Affinity for children and enjoys working with young patients
• Patient, friendly, and positive
• Good communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues
• Enjoys variety between preventive work, assisting, and reception work
• Works accurately and organized
• Able to work independently, but also enjoys being part of a small team
• Experience as a preventive assistant
