Prep Job Description:
Snarf's Sandwiches, a beloved fast-casual sandwich chain known for its toasty subs, is seeking a dedicated Sandwich Maker to join our team. With over 25 years of experience and 30+ locations across the Front Range, we are committed to delivering the finest sandwiches to our loyal customers. As a member of our Prep team, you will play a crucial role in upholding our high-quality standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble the ingredients that make our sandwiches great by according to Snarf's recipes and guidelines.
- Utilize a power deli slicer to cut meats and cheeses (everything is sliced fresh!)
- Wash and cut vegetables for salads and sides.
- Mix and blend sauces and dressings.
- Take accurate stock counts and prep sheet counts.
- Use Date Code Genie to print freshness labels.
- Use scales to accurately measure ingredients.
- Use a triple sink to clean knives and other utensils.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including equipment such as deli slicers and conveyor ovens.
- Adhere to food safety protocols and ensure proper handling of ingredients throughout food preparation.
- Demonstrate basic math skills for order accuracy.
- Embrace flexibility in scheduling, with availability for both part-time (minimum 14 hours) and full-time (minimum 30 hours) shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the culinary or food industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with deli equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach to service.
- Comfortable with bussing tasks, food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Knowledge of basic math for measuring ingredients and processing orders accurately.
- Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team in a dynamic cafe setting.
- Prior experience in a grocery store or similar food service environment is beneficial.

Note: Compensation will be based on experience. Snarf's offers growth opportunities within the company along with health reimbursement, dental, vision benefits after 30 days of employment.
