About the role
A leading IT solutions provider seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Manager to join the growing team. This role is ideal for a technically strong individual who enjoys solving complex customer challenges and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Qualify sales leads from a technical perspective to ensure feasibility and alignment with our solutions.
- Deliver impactful product presentations and demonstrations tailored to client needs.
- Lead Proof-of-Concept (POC) engagements to validate solution performance.
- Conduct Technology Update sessions to keep customers informed on new innovations.
- Prepare accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for RFQ, RFP, and tender submissions.
- Act as the main technical advisor to customers on features, integration, and functionality.
- Collaborate with principals, internal sales, and product teams to design customized solutions.
Requirements (Must-Haves):
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in a technical pre-sales, solution architect, or system engineering role.
- Strong understanding of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP.
- Solid knowledge of routing, switching, SSL VPN, LAN, WAN, network security, encryption, and authentication.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong presentation and communication skills – able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Must possess own transport and be willing to travel within Klang Valley.
