About the Role
We are seeking a Power Platform / Power BI Data Analyst to join an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Operations team within Cybersecurity. This role will focus on leveraging Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, SQL, and data analytics to build automation solutions and actionable dashboards from large enterprise datasets.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience working with databases, writing SQL queries, joining and transforming large datasets, building Power BI dashboards, and developing workflow automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for cybersecurity/IAM operations.
- Connect Power BI and Power Platform solutions to enterprise databases and other data sources.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, join, transform, and analyze large datasets.
- Perform data wrangling, cleansing, transformation, and validation across large volumes of data.
- Build workflows and automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate.
- Work with datasets containing 1M+ records and ensure data accuracy and performance.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytics and automation solutions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot data, reporting, workflow, and integration issues.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and IAM teams to improve operational reporting and automation.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.
- Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, aggregations, and working with large datasets.
- Experience connecting analytics or Power Platform solutions to databases.
- Experience with data wrangling, data transformation, and data modeling.
- Experience building Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Experience developing workflow automation using Power Automate / Microsoft Power Platform.
- Experience working with large datasets and optimizing data/reporting solutions.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with sprint cycles and daily standups.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
