Post Office Specialist

About This Role

This Post Office Specialist position focuses on providing sales assistance and excellent customer service within the Post Office department, while also supporting all other departments. The role involves problem-solving customer mailing needs and maintaining the professional sales image of the department.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales assistance and customer service in all departments, with a specific focus on the Post Office
• Problem solve and find solutions to customer mailing needs
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while providing quality service in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner
• Perform inventory counts
• Merchandise and maintain the professional sales image of the department
• Assist customers with mailing letters and parcels
• Provide assistance with PO boxes
• Assist customers with Venture One and other CPC transactions

Requirements

• Good interpersonal, motivational, and follow-up skills
• Willingness to accept responsibility
• Ability to cope with stress and pressure, and remain calm when dealing with difficult situations
• Basic PC knowledge
• Well-organized and self-motivated
• Professional sales experience
• Positive attitude
• Desire to support company initiatives
• Commitment to achieving company objectives
• Available to work a flexible schedule, Monday to Sunday

Nice to have:

• Prior post office experience
• Familiarity with the ROSS (Canada Post POS system)
