The Chu Laboratory is seeking a creative, collaborative, and independently motivated postdoctoral researcher to study post-transcriptional RNA regulation and neurodegeneration. The potential candidate will utilize CRISPR-based technologies to identify TDP-43’s roles in splicing activity and subcellular localization. Join an active team of researchers working on PINK1, KIF1 and valosin-containing protein.
Requirements: A PhD in cellular and molecular neuroscience, human genetics, or a related field. Research experience in one or more of the following areas:
Primary and iPSC-derived neuronal cultures, molecular cloning, imaging, CRISPR or other gene-editing technologies, RNA biology. History of first author publication(s) with excellent written and oral communication skills are desired.
