Porter Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in long term care and EVS preferred but not required
- Maintain the resident rooms including but not limited to cleaning restroom, walls, baseboards, doors, ceilings, mirrors, dusting, washing windows, and removing trash
- Moves furniture to dry and wet mop floors
- Dusts and cleans all furniture and fixtures
- Terminal Cleaning of resident room upon transfer, discharge, or death
- Cleans and empties trash in soiled utility rooms
- Maintains facility appearance by cleaning all stairwells, washing windows in main lobby, offices, staff and resident lounges
- Cleans and polishes elevators as needed
- Performs emergency housekeeping where accidents occur
- Restocks and maintains a clear stockroom and housekeeping cart
- Ability to work independently or part of a group
