Position Overview
The Assistant Manager will support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations while helping lead the team to deliver excellent guest service, strong operational results, and a clean, well-run restaurant. This role is hands-on and requires someone who can lead by example, develop team members, and help create a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
The Assistant Manager will be responsible for:
- Running successful shifts and ensuring smooth daily operations
- Training, coaching, and developing crew members and shift leaders
- Supporting the General Manager with restaurant goals and performance
- Assisting with truck orders and product organization
- Helping with scheduling and staffing needs
- Managing inventory and controlling waste
- Monitoring labor and helping control labor costs
- Maintaining restaurant cleanliness and food safety standards
- Ensuring guests receive fast, friendly, and accurate service
- Holding team members accountable to company standards
- Creating a positive, people-first work environment
- Helping identify and develop future leaders within the restaurant
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have:
- Previous experience as a restaurant manager, assistant manager, or shift leader
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- A hands-on leadership style
- A positive attitude and willingness to grow
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
