Pool Technician

About This Role

Working in a luxury hotel, the Pool Technician maintains and services swimming pools and related equipment to ensure they remain clean, safe, and in excellent condition. This role suits a hands-on individual with strong technical skills and a commitment to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service swimming pools to ensure they remain clean, safe, and in excellent condition
• Monitor and maintain pool filtration, pumps, chlorination, and other related equipment
• Conduct regular water testing and ensure appropriate chemical levels are maintained
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment faults and arrange or carry out necessary repairs
• Maintain accurate records of pool maintenance and chemical usage
• Ensure all pool areas and surrounding facilities meet the required cleanliness and safety standards
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance to minimize equipment breakdowns
• Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental procedures
• Assist with general maintenance duties when required

Requirements

• Previous experience in a pool maintenance or technical role, preferably within a hotel, lodge, or luxury hospitality environment
• Good knowledge of pool pumps, filtration systems, and water treatment
• Strong practical and troubleshooting skills
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
• Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards
• Ability to work flexible hours when required

Nice to have:

• A valid driver's license
