This full-time police officer role involves performing general law enforcement duties in accordance with established police methods and departmental practices. The position requires the ability to follow instructions, act with sound judgment, and work rotating shifts.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High school education or equivalent
• Possess a Basic Law Enforcement Certificate issued by the State of North Carolina, meet the certificate qualifications issued by the NC Criminal Justice Training and Standards, or be a current student in the BLET Program
