PO Tracking Supervisor

About This Role

The PO Tracking Supervisor is responsible for coaching and mentoring a team of direct reports while providing continual training and development opportunities. This role evaluates team performance to ensure work meets company standards and acts as support for shipping-related issues. Working within the merchandising operations sector, the supervisor communicates and reports for a designated area of business, impacting the receipt and flow of goods to over 1,000 stores.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Evaluate team performance against established KPIs and ensure accountability.
• Aid team in tracking and researching the movement of POs from creation to receipt.
• Build strong relationships with management, peers, and vendor partners.
• Conduct monthly buyer check-ins and vendor meetings with analysts.
• Foster a motivating work environment that encourages high performance.
• Facilitate monthly growth and development conversations with analysts.
• Analyze team performance and identify coaching opportunities.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of Retail, Logistics, and/or Supply Chain related experience.
• 2-4 years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• 4-year college degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have:

• Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions.
• Occasional travel to New York and Los Angeles buying offices as well as local DCs and stores.
