The AutoCAD/Revit Plumbing Draftsperson is a part time role at AcrossClocks that plays a critical role in producing precise and detailed plumbing design drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit software. This position involves the development and updating of technical drawings, models, and detailed documentation required for plumbing and mechanical piping projects. The candidate independently executes practical drafting tasks, including creating dimensions, annotations, tags, and revisions, while adhering to plumbing codes, construction standards, and company-specific workflows. Strong collaboration with project team members and BIM coordination is essential to ensure the seamless integration of plumbing designs within larger building information modeling frameworks. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings, and a commitment to delivering accurate and reliable drafting outputs. Although no formal degree is required, practical experience and proficiency with US plumbing standards and fabrication workflows are paramount to success in this role. The ideal candidate has at least two years of hands-on experience in drafting or design documentation, with considerable familiarity in plumbing systems design and MEP coordination. The position demands excellent English communication skills to participate in professional discussions, understand technical instructions, and provide clear updates. Attention to detail, the ability to work independently on assigned tasks, and the willingness to learn and adapt to evolving standards and processes are essential. Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain detailed plumbing design drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit in compliance with relevant plumbing codes and standards.
• Develop and produce construction, shop, fabrication, and installation drawings that meet project specifications and company protocols.
• Perform precise 3D modeling, detailing, and documentation of plumbing systems, including pipe routing, mechanical piping, and related components.
• Conduct BIM coordination and collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design conflicts and ensure consistency in project deliverables.
• Utilize software tools such as Navisworks and Bluebeam Revu for clash detection, markups, and quality control of plumbing models and drawings.
• Interpret and analyze architectural, structural, consulting, and construction drawings to accurately integrate plumbing systems within multidisciplinary designs.
• Apply strong knowledge of technical drafting standards including annotations, labeling, line weights, layers, and dimensioning to produce high-quality technical drawings.
• Prepare bills of materials (BOM) and perform material take-offs to support procurement and fabrication processes.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of plumbing drawings through diligent review and adherence to technical instructions and company standard operating procedures.
• Maintain clear and professional communication in English with the CAD Director and project team, providing regular progress updates and seeking clarification when required.
• Manage repetitive and detailed drafting tasks with efficiency and attention to detail to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.
• Continuously develop skills and knowledge related to US plumbing standards, fabrication workflows, and company-specific processes through ongoing learning and training.
