About This Role
Plumbing systems and equipment across the property are the responsibility of the Plumber, who installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs them. This role ensures a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for guests and Heartists.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage systems, pumps, valves, faucets, pipes, fixtures, and sanitary equipment throughout the property
- Carry out preventive maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of all plumbing installations and equipment
- Respond promptly to plumbing breakdowns, leaks, blockages, and maintenance requests to minimize operational disruptions
- Inspect all areas of the property for plumbing-related issues and safety hazards, taking immediate corrective action when required
- Monitor water systems and associated equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with operational standards
- Assist guests regarding property facilities in an informative, professional, and helpful manner
- Coordinate and prioritize daily maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion of assigned work orders
- Support all departments with their maintenance requests and operational requirements to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as company policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report major repairs or equipment issues to the Engineering team
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Good knowledge of plumbing systems, water distribution, drainage networks, pumps, and sanitary fixtures
- Ability to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently and effectively
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
