Plumber Apprentice

About This Role

This entry-level Plumber Apprentice position involves servicing, diagnosing issues with, repairing, and installing commercial and residential plumbing equipment under the direction of experienced plumbers. The role suits a quick learner who loves fixing things and is eager to learn from experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist an experienced plumber with residential and commercial plumbing installations, alterations, additions, repairs, and maintenance
• Become more knowledgeable and gain confidence through on-the-job training and classroom instruction
• Work on more complex systems and with more independence as skills are honed
• Interact with clients to ensure an excellent customer experience

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current enrollment in an apprenticeship program recognized by the state of Virginia
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• Physical ability to lift up to 90 lbs and work from heights or small crawl spaces
• Ability to pass a background check and drug testing
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Eager to learn
