YOUR ROLE

The Plant Support Technician ensures smooth day-to-day operation of the manufacturing plant by providing technical, operational, and administrative support to production, maintenance, and quality teams. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, improving efficiency, and supporting plant performance and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily production support from the Engineering department
• Provides support for the Plant Support Engineer in his main tasks and activities.
• Assist and implement the entire technical documentation for the launch of new projects and/or serial ones (drawings; change letters; work instructions, EOS documentation; standardized documentation: ECF, SOS, WAM, Sign off, WCT, WPO; skill requirements; address system; identification of workstations)
• Helps coordinate, together with the Plant Support Engineer, the launch of new products, the implementation of change letters
• Prepares and assists in the preparation of pilot wiring, prototypes, PPAPs, and samples, upon request

YOUR BACKGROUND

• or post-secondary technical studies

• Required Experience: 1 year in a production field

• English, MS Office Software

• Quality standards and system regulations (ISO), Process improvement techniques, Quality tools (Statistical Process Control, PFMEA, APQP, etc.), Continuous improvement techniques, Analytical and problem solving skills

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
