Key Duties
- Maintenance: Change equipment oil, grease plant bearings, take oil samples, and follow the lubrication schedule.
- Repairs & Upkeep: Clean and change screens, splice belts, do cutting, welding, and fabrication work.
- Monitoring: Check conveyors, screens, crushers, and stockpiles for size issues or trouble.
- Communication: Train on the JLG lift, fill out daily checklists, and talk with the next shift about plant changes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous mining experience strongly preferred
- Experience working on a mine site preferred
- Working knowledge of heavy construction or mining equipment
Skills & Abilities
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Self-motivated with a positive work ethic
- Ability to follow written work plans and prioritize tasks
- Ability to read equipment operating manuals
- Ability to interpret gauges and complete inspection reports
- Effective communication skills
