Hennepin Healthcare is seeking a part-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Gold Service (Vascular and Colorectal) and General Surgery teams. Starting FTE is flexible (0.55 – 0.70 FTE) and will be based on what the selected candidate would like. With any starting FTE, 0.55 FTE will be dedicated to our Gold Service team with FTE above that floating within the General Surgery team.
The Vascular & Colorectal APP’s duties will be a blend of direct patient care, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. Must be able to document accurate histories and physical exams as well as episodic health assessments. Collaboration with the healthcare team, and adherence to clinical and regulatory standards, with a focus on managing complex vascular and colorectal conditions, primarily in a clinic setting with opportunity for hospital environment as well.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited physician assistant (PA) program with experience in providing care to adult and pediatric population
- Minimum of two years of experience in a family medicine clinic
- Obtain credentials through HCMCs Office of the Medical Director
- Certification or eligibility for certification from the State of Minnesota as a Physician Assistant
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of electronic medical documentation system/software
- Bi-lingual (Spanish)
