Role Overview This position provides clinical support across various hospital settings, including inpatient units, emergency departments, clinics, and ICUs. Responsibilities involve assisting physicians with patient care through bedside assessments, making rounds, contributing to daily treatment decisions, writing medical orders, and coordinating diagnostics and therapies. The role also includes seeing patients in clinics, taking histories, performing physical exams, prescribing medications, and educating patients about treatment plans. In ICU settings, support includes patient management, order writing, and consultation interactions.
Qualifications Candidates must hold a Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nursing program, with licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Florida. BLS certification is required. The role does not involve operating vehicles for work purposes.
