Overview ACUTE CARE SURGERY OPPORTUNITY Baptist Medical Group – Seeking BC/BE Acute Care Surgeons to join our rapidly expanding surgicalist team!
- Base Salary: $450,000 with the potential for additional earnings through optional extra shifts
- $30,000 sign on bonus + annual quality bonus + relocation
- This is an employed opportunity with Baptist Medical Group (a multidisciplinary medical group with over 1000 employed physicians)

Primary facility: BMH - Memphis (700 bed tertiary referral center for our 26-hospital system)

Minimal Trauma (Polytrauma is covered by Elvis Presley Level 1 Trauma Center in downtown Memphis)

When fully staffed, our group operates on a balanced schedule designed to support clinical excellence and physician well-being. The schedule includes:

7 (24-hour call shifts per month); reimbursement for extra call taken

Rounding and outpatient clinic

Minimum of 9 consecutive days off per physician every month

Great sub-specialty support

Baptist has a general surgery residency which offers opportunities to teach

Great collaborative and collegial physicians and administrative team

As a not-for-profit system, BMHCC qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
