About the role
Role: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) supporting patient mobility, strength, coordination, and range of motion recovery under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities: Implement treatment plans, select appropriate activities, revise goals collaboratively, provide patient and family education, and ensure proper documentation. Acts as a referral resource for staff, families, and physicians related to rehabilitation services.
Core Duties: Deliver quality, cost-conscious care aligned with regulatory standards; document each session accurately; communicate effectively with team members; and participate in staff meetings and ongoing education.
Customer Service & Professional Development: Promote a positive environment, apply service recovery principles, and engage in mandatory and ongoing training to maintain licensure and skills.
Qualifications: Associates degree in Physical Therapy, valid PTA license, BLS certification, effective communication skills, customer service orientation, team spirit, and basic computer proficiency.
