About the role
We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to provide direct rehabilitation care to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting. Responsibilities Include
- Implementing and adjusting individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals
- Overseeing and evaluating care provided by PTAs, rehab aides, and students
- Charting accurately and utilizing therapy software effectively
- Establishing, assessing, and modifying realistic patient goals
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care
- Providing excellent patient service and maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
- Participating in community health projects and adhering to safety and compliance standards
Qualifications And Skills
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program (BSPT, MSPT, or DPT)
- Current licensure in applicable state, maintaining active licensure
- CPR certification required; new grads are welcome to apply
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication
- Strong communication, decision-making, and body mechanics skills
- Knowledge of post-acute care regulations and safety procedures
