About the role
Role: The physical therapist assesses, plans, and delivers rehabilitative care to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity caused by disease or injury.
Responsibilities: Implement and revise treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families, provide education and discharge instructions, and act as a resource for staff and physicians regarding rehabilitation services. Responsible for patient assessment, establishing and evaluating treatment programs, and documenting evaluations, plans, and sessions according to departmental guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills: Requires a Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, valid licensure as a Physical Therapist, and BLS certification. Must possess effective communication, customer service orientation, team collaboration, and basic computer skills. Adheres to ethical standards, maintains confidentiality, and participates in professional development activities.
Key Duties: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, provide patient-centered care, contribute to a positive team environment, and support organizational policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned to promote quality, safety, and service excellence in rehabilitation services.
