About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and assisting in the treatment of individuals with various physical conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans
- Work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
- Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and care routines
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Experience:
- Previous experience in patient care, particularly in geriatrics, orthopedics, or hospital settings, is preferred or home care
- Knowledge of physiology and occupational health practices
- Familiarity with inpatient therapy procedures
