About the role
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to perform patient treatments, exercise instruction, and education aimed at enhancing patient well-being within established care plans. Key Responsibilities Include
- Following state-specific laws and supervising the Physical Therapist's treatment plan
- Instructing patients in exercises, gait, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training
- Monitoring and reporting patient responses and condition changes to the healthcare team
- Educating patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques
Qualifications
- Current license, registration, or certification to practice physical therapy assistance in the state
- CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, or access to public transit
- Ability to work in diverse home environments and complete physical tasks such as lifting and mobility assistance
- Availability for weekend rotations
Compensation includes: per visit point pay based on productivity, hourly pay for non-visit activities, along with comprehensive benefits, recognition programs, and retirement options.
